All the pups are getting so big! they are out playing in the yard, getting more comfortable every day. Vin loves having them to play with and has been so good and gentle.
The Wheaten pups are eating & are about weaned. They are so brave exploring the flower beds and front of the house.!

Avoca & Beau puppies 4/10
The Wheaten babies are almost 3 weeks and they have opened their eyes this past week and are now starting to explore and starting to play. Mom is getting sick of being with them around the clock and I can’t say i blame her.
But she still likes her babies most the time

I bred my girl,CC – that is Shakira’s Carbon Copy – I thought she looked so much like her mommy , my Reeda, because they are my last brindles and I cannot stand the thought of being stripeless. CC had 4 boys after 16 long hours of labor – she is slow – very slow, any how I only got one brindle – one brindle boy! But he is cute – they all are!
It is a BEAUTIFUL day, sun shining a bit of a breeze – couldn’t ask for better, except I have a load of laundry to do, house to clean, dogs to groom and errands to run! So I will get the laundry going, go to the bank, come home and do the dishes, vacuum and mop floors and see what time it is…maybe groom one dog. How do people get it all done? How do you stay organized? I need help, lotsa help!

Wheaten mom and her babies
Avoca has 10 absolutely lovely pups! I was thinking 5-6 maybe even 7, but not once when I looked her did I think there were 10 puppies! Voca is a good mom, she keeps her pups clean, she makes sure that they are well fed, but after 10 days she is getting a little sick of them. She is tired of being a mom 24/7, she wants to be loved on, she wants to sleep in a comfy bed and to be cuddled by her favorite person, Dad,John, the guy with the food and the best sofa! So she is now jumping out of the puppy pen and taking a break more and more often, but don’t head over to just look at her babies if you have 4 legs, those are her babies and you are not welcome. Voca makes the most awful gurgling,growling noise ever and of course wants back in by her babies so she can make sure noone is looking at them but her!

I have always wanted to keep up with a blog but never done very well. Yesterday was my birthday, 46 yrs old, 23rd wedding anniversary too – and the day pretty much stank. what a drag,huh?
I breed dogs, I love my dogs, dream about how I can breed to make them taller, smaller, what I can do to get more color, better rears…I show dogs too, so anyway, I have been waiting on one of my girls,Faith – a little Corgi girl, to start her labor, she did yesterday am and we ended up at the vet, with a c-section, 2 pups that we worked and worked on and never got them to breathe. They were pretty little pups, and I was terribly sad that I was so powerless to help them. I am a nurse, work in a busy ER, and still nada. On the good side,Faith is good, recovering well. She is quiet but getting around, eating and bright-eyed, having her safe and sound was my priority and she is, so I am pleased with that.
My sons made a swing frame to hang my sky chairs from…I LOVE it! What a wonderful bday present.
I am tired, will pick up again tomorrow.
